Index received an award in October 2023 for Best Reliability Improvement Project. This was for work done on PM6 primary arms redesign and project management at OjiFS – Kinleith Mill. Index undertook considerable research and investigation to ensure that the root causes of the primary arms failures were identified. Thorough checking of work meant that some unseen issues were found and resolved before they became problems (which would have led to delays in startup). Index utilised the latest technology to assist, including photoscans, 3D scans, laser measurement, video, Solidworks Simulation and an online spur generator.
