10HD Tank: Design and Project Management

This major job involved the removal and replacement of a large tank on OjiFS Kinleith site. The main challenge of this project management job was working within a confined area: plant had been built up around the old tank over the years, and this meant that there was little space to bring in the required 450 tonne crane to achieve the 110 tonne lift. A new concrete platform was installed to support the crane, and the work was completed successfully on time and on budget.
