About the Company
Index Engineering is an award-winning consulting mechanical engineering practice, based in Rotorua’s CBD. We provide our clients with solutions to industrial problems, from the initial stages of problem identification through to mechanical design, project and construction management, and commissioning. In addition, we are an accredited Design Verification Inspection body providing verification services to NZ and overseas clients.

The focus of this role is strong leadership of a team of well qualified senior engineers and client relationship management. You'll come with proven experience in delivering effective design solutions and engineering services in large, complex environments, and a flair for managing risk and problem solving. Not only will you be able to lead by example, you will have proven experience in building staff performance and a culture of accountability and customer focus. A background in PECPR Regulations, pressure vessel equipment and tanks will be advantageous.
In terms of formal qualifications, you will have a tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering and be CPEng registered. Outstanding written and spoken English language skills are an absolute must for this position.
